- The wood comes from Polish forests and complies with EUDR requirements.
- The wood heat treatment process originated in Finland. It is an eco-friendly method of treating wood by exposing it to high temperatures (160–230°C) and steaming it for 48–96 hours. During this time, the sugars in the wood caramelize, and water absorption is reduced. As a result, the wood becomes resistant to the growth of moldand bacteria. It also takes on a darker color
- Do not wash in the dishwasher.
- Wash with dish soap and a sponge under running water, then dry immediately with a paper towel.
- Avoid sources of light and heat.
- Maintain regularly with paraffin oil (available in our store).
The product is coated with a hard wax approved for contact with food.
